Tools Bar
The
Tools Bar
provides the tools to create and edit the various components of an Object.
-The
Select
button is used to select any visible Object on the current page. This is the normal mode and only needs to be selected after zooming the display or editing an Object's geometry.
-The
Edit Geometry
button is used to edit the geometry of the currently selected Object. The selected geometry will display white edit boxes at the geometry's vertices. Use the cross hair cursor to move the edit boxes. (This operation is only available on Polygons)
-The
Rectangle
and
Ellipse
buttons will create a square and circle in the center of the display. Use your cursor to move and scale these Objects. (see Transforms)
-The
Polygon
button is used to create polygon shapes. Press the left mouse button to create or append a point to the polygon. Holding the left mouse button down while moving your mouse will drop points at regular intervals. Terminate a closed polygon by re-selecting the first point. Terminate an open polygon by holding the shift key when creating the final point. (see Transforms)
-The
Sprite
button is used to import a bitmap. Multiple browser compatible file formats are supported.
-The
Edit Geometry
button is used to change the name and origin of an Object's geometry.
-The
Shading
button dialog provides the ability to apply color, texture maps and patterns to an Object's geometry.
-The
Action
button is used to apply motion to an Object.
-The
Behavior
button (IMS Professional) is used to apply complex behaviors and events to an Object.
